📋 Description
• Support the design, deployment, and modernization of subsea network solutions for global customers. • Implement capacity and technology upgrades for in-service customer networks. • Plan, develop, and execute modernization projects through Engineering Methods of Procedure (EMOPs). • Create and maintain detailed design and test documentation, including low-level design (LLD), EMOPs, and Acceptance Test Plans (ATPs). • Validate and oversee implementation activities to ensure network stability and design compliance during maintenance windows. • Lead or support user acceptance testing (UAT), software validation, and interoperability testing as part of customer-funded projects. • Develop automation scripts and testing templates; conduct internal and customer workshops to share best practices.
🎯 Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Optical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field. • 3–5 years of hands-on experience in Routing & Switching, preferably combined with expertise in optical or subsea network engineering. • Strong programming proficiency in Python, C, C++, or JavaScript, along with experience in Linux environments for simulation and automation. • Proven experience in creating engineering documentation (EMOPs, test plans, LLDs) and executing network upgrades or service migrations. • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to work independently, manage timelines, and collaborate effectively in a global team. • Fluency in Spanish or Portuguese is a plus.
