📋 Description

• Deploy medium to large-scale EF&I projects with medium/high complexity within budget, schedule, and Ciena quality standards • Manage customer expectations, communications, escalations, and governance throughout the project lifecycle • Develop project schedules, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies • Drive quality across project services, from site and network engineering through installation, testing, and readiness for service • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and vendors to ensure timely delivery and cost-effective deployment activities • Maintain project documentation, including schedules, financials, risks, and issues • Coach and guide junior team members to meet project deliverables and contribute to team success

🎯 Requirements

• A technical degree or equivalent combination of education and experience • PMP certification preferred (required within one year of hire) • Minimum of 10 years of telecommunications industry operational experience and/or project implementation • Minimum of 8 years in a lead role managing medium to large-scale projects • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) • Subsea deployment experience is a strong advantage • Business and financial management skills, particularly in project-level P&L • Strong communication, negotiation, and decision-making abilities • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing critical tasks and resources • Familiarity with Ciena’s products and technologies is a plus
