📋 Description

• Manage all aspects required to obtain prescription drug coverage for patients • Coordinate cases with insurance companies, physician’s offices, and healthcare professionals to maximize reimbursement solutions • Coordinate documents, submissions, and related paperwork with insurance companies and public/federal funding programs • Implement Financial Means Tests to maximize patients’ prescription drug coverage • Coordinate pharmacy processes after funding is obtained • Acquire in-depth knowledge of public, private, and federal funding mechanisms • Report all Adverse Events to assigned units/departments • Manage patient cases and support timely, accurate handling of coverage-related requests • Coordinate benefits documentation, case updates, follow-up activities, and reimbursement communications • Resolve routine reimbursement issues, documentation gaps, and workflow exceptions • Maintain accurate case records, reimbursement documentation, and system updates • Monitor reimbursement trends, recurring issues, and escalation indicators • Work with internal and external stakeholders to clarify reimbursement requirements and support case resolution • Contribute to process improvements, workflow updates, and operational readiness efforts

🎯 Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience required • 2+ years of experience in reimbursement support, patient services, customer operations, healthcare support services, case coordination, claims support, or a related field required • Certification in reimbursement support, patient access, customer support, service management, customer relationship management systems, or process improvement preferred
