📋 Description

• Provide legal advice and services regarding vendor contracting • Serves as a lead resource to Enterprise Procurement function regarding vendor contracting • Provides legal advice to Centene and its affiliated entities and health plans • Reviews regulations, industry practices, vendor-sourcing RFPs • Reviews, drafts and negotiates contracts, policies and procedures • Manages outside counsel and directs, monitors and develops legal strategies • Directs and conducts training and process improvement activities • Acts as a lead Corporate Counsel on projects or certain matters • Performs other duties as assigned • Complies with all policies and standards

🎯 Requirements

• Juris Doctor (JD) required • 5+ years of experience in the areas of corporate or health law required • 5+ years of experience with government contract law, health law and managed care preferred • Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and/or ACA marketplace insurance, state insurance and HMO regulations preferred • IAPP privacy or similar subject matter certification preferred • Bar Admission and currently in good standing required
