📋 Description

• Provide comprehensive support to underwriters and clients within the Property Division, including account reviews, coordination of engineering surveys, and oversight of third-party services related to loss prevention. • Assist the Builders Risk Specialty unit by evaluating building plans and identifying risk factors for new construction and renovation projects; conduct site visits as required. • Collaborate with Product Line Management to develop and enhance risk assessment tools for catastrophe exposures, and support underwriting initiatives where engineering expertise influences risk selection or pricing. • Participate in client engagements, including underwriting meetings for renewals and new business, as requested. • Design and deliver engineering presentations at industry conferences, conventions, associations, and related professional groups. • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, emerging technologies, and best practices in loss prevention. • Contribute to training initiatives by preparing and presenting educational materials on pertinent topics.

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in Highly Protected Risk (HPR) environments. • Advanced proficiency in National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) standards. • Demonstrated experience in developing engineering tools. • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills. • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel. • Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical, Electrical, Mechanical, or Civil Engineering. • Professional Engineering License preferred. • Proven ability to work collaboratively within a team and a strong drive for success. • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
