• Monitor social media, sports, and entertainment news to identify trending moments • Create and post content that connects chess to current conversations • Identify, analyze, and forecast emerging trends and cultural shifts • Act as a key voice of the brand • Pitch and execute bold content ideas and social stunts • Work closely with Social Media and Partnerships teams

🎯 Requirements

• 3+ years of hands-on experience managing and growing social media accounts • Genuine understanding of chess, its community, its top players, and culture • Expert-level understanding of internet culture, memes, and current events • Native understanding of TikTok, X (Twitter), Instagram, and YouTube • Ability to create compelling, platform-native content • Comfortable with non-traditional schedules to chase viral moments
