📋 Description

• Develop a comprehensive understanding of FPC’s Enabling Conditions Strategy and serve as its primary representative as well as one of the strategy’s spokespersons, helping to raise FPC’s profile among its key strategy partners. • Stay informed about key developments and new data relevant to the strategy to seize opportunities and manage risks related to strategic priorities. • Engage with other Strategy Leads to identify and coordinate on complementary agendas, joint partners and opportunities. • Facilitate the Strategy Committee by ensuring regular engagement and clear communication. • Once committee member terms are agreed, oversee the rotation of members to maintain continuity and balanced representation. • Coordinate Grantmaking to partner regrantors, ensuring alignment with committee recommendations and FPC’s values. • Support the Development team in fundraising efforts, including strategy briefing meetings, connection with potential grantees and engaging with peer donors who support the collaborative. • Support the Engagement team in building trusted relationships with grantmaking entities and partners critical to FPC’s success, including by connecting new partners with the experienced members of the collaborative. • Support the Communications team in identifying key stories to showcase FPC’s strategic priorities and their results, and in developing content and materials related to the strategy, as well as participating in speaking engagements and serving as a spokesperson on behalf of the strategy team. • Contribute to FPC-wide engagement efforts, including participation in team meetings, retreats, and collaborative planning spaces. • Carry out additional tasks as mutually agreed with CLUA to support strategy-aligned funders and partners.

🎯 Requirements

• A minimum of 7 years’ experience working with civil society organizations, especially in tropical forests and on climate, conservation, and rights issues. • Proven background in one or more of the Enabling Conditions strategic pillars: improving funding accessibility; organizational and movement strengthening; protection of civic space; and collective learning and innovation. • Good understanding of philanthropy, including grantmaking strategy and partner relationship management. • Demonstrated experience with facilitation, including over video conference. • English writing and speaking proficiency. • Commitment to FPC’s values. • Also good to have: Experience with Monitoring, Learning, and Evaluation. • Professional fluency in Spanish, Portuguese, French, or Bahasa Indonesia.
