📋 Description

• Build a deep understanding of developer needs through research and discovery practices • Partner with product managers and engineers to uncover unmet customer needs and turn insights into impactful product opportunities • Facilitate collaborative ideation and story-mapping workshops with cross-functional partners (PM + Design + Engineering) • Create user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs in Figma that balance usability, scalability, and visual craft • Maintain and evolve Coder’s design system to ensure consistency, accessibility, and continuous UX improvements across the platform • Define how humans and AI collaborate in developer tooling

🎯 Requirements

• 3+ years of end-to-end product design experience in the software industry, with a strong foundation in UX principles • Insight-driven and seeking to deeply understand customer needs • Skilled at untangling complex problems and turning them into simple, scalable, user-centered solutions • Proactive and independent, with strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset • Curious and growth-minded, with a interest to refining both craft and process • Excited about AI and eager to apply emerging technologies to enhance design workflows. • Practice running mixed-methods research (journey mapping, interviews, usability testing) and synthesizing insights • Experience designing developer tools, IDEs, CLIs, or code‑centric workflows • Familiarity with GitHub, VS Code, or JetBrains • A background in maintaining design systems, tokens, and accessibility standards
