📋 Description

• Review plans, specifications and proposals to gain a thorough understanding of the project • Works with engineering staff to coordinate proper field activities necessary to successfully deliver and complete assigned tasks • Instrument calibration/configuration, hardware checkout, software debug and customer training • Document and maintain accurate records of job-related activities, releases, correspondence and provide accurate daily reports • Implement design and programming modifications as required • Advise Project Management of customer change requests or proposal discrepancies • Hold and/or participate in Job-site Safety Meetings • Assist engineering with returns of defective equipment • Other duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• An associate’s degree in engineering or pursuing a degree in Engineering • Two years’ experience or four years’ related experience • Strong communication skills, written and oral • Knowledge of industrial controls • Understanding of the system or process to be controlled • Basic knowledge of HMI and PLC Programming • Exposure to electronics, electrical work and/or computers through education, personal study or previous employment • Ability to perform calculations required to size components • Ability to perform work in a timely manner and within budget • Valid driver’s license • Travel requirement of 50% with overnight stays
