• Lead global Safety by guidance, execution and support to safeguard operations, systems and knowledge in compliance with applicable obligations • Develop and contribute proposals related to Health & Safety in relevance to the CT strategy and align with stakeholders • Derive tasks, projects and programs from the CT strategy for Health & Safety focusing on Ergonomics • Safeguard the ESH Management System for Health & Safety according to internal and external compliance obligations • Ensure task performance as strategically or operationally required within the CT ESH team and support teamwork • Gather, analyze and report Safety related performance data and contribute to Performance & Management Reviews • Identify, gather and report Health & Safety related risks and ensure mitigation actions and preparedness • Hold global responsibility for ContiTech organization including all CT-related locations and alignment with Business Areas

🎯 Requirements

• Academic degree as Mechanical Engineer, Safety Manager/Engineer, ESH Manager or comparable • Long-term experience in leading or management position • Knowledge about International Standards (e.g. ISO 45001, OSHA, DGUV) • Experience as ESH/Safety System Auditor, Lead Auditor qualification (acc. ISO 19011) preferred • Profound experience in ESH or comparable, preferably in rubber production or comparable industries • Professional experience in management of Health is preferred • Business fluent English language skills (spoken and written) • Willingness to travel (approx. 10-20%) • Strong team player with collaborative mindset • Ability to work independently and take initiative • Structured approach to tasks and projects • Analytical skills and attention to detail
