📋 Description

• Develop and execute a comprehensive digital underwriting strategy that aligns with company goals and supports our expansion efforts, especially in the areas of automation, data analytics, and AI-driven underwriting. • Own the P&L for the digital underwriting function. Develop financial plans, manage budgets, and ensure cost-effective execution of underwriting activities while driving profitable growth. • Drive digital transformation initiatives that streamline underwriting processes, improve efficiency, and enhance customer experience. This includes implementing digital platforms, improving data collection, and ensuring robust risk assessment capabilities. • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including claims, product, distribution and technology to ensure seamless integration of digital underwriting solutions across the organization. • Work closely with Head of Product to ensure compliance and digital underwriting processes adhere to regulatory standards and risk management protocols. • Establish and monitor KPIs to measure the success of digital underwriting initiatives and implement continuous improvement programs. • Manage relationships with external vendors and technology team, ensuring that digital underwriting tools and platforms meet our evolving business needs. • Stay up to date on digital underwriting trends, emerging technologies, and industry best practices to continuously drive innovation and competitive advantage.

🎯 Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in underwriting with at least 3 years in a role managing digital transformation and innovation within the underwriting space, preferably in cyber insurance. • Proven experience in driving digital transformation initiatives in the insurance industry with existing broker relationships, particularly in underwriting. • Demonstrated P&L management experience and financial acumen, including budgeting, forecasting, and driving profitability. • Knowledge of digital underwriting platforms, data analytics, ML/AI and automation tools. • Familiarity with insurance technologies, including policy administration systems and risk assessment tools. • Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization, and external partners. • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic, and entrepreneurial environment.
