📋 Description

• Own, build and run a suite of impactful platforms built on modern cloud technologies delivering APIs, integrations, security, messaging, streaming, identity, performance, reliability & containers • Build multi-region and multi-cloud supported services for scalable, secure service delivery across hundreds of services on AWS & Azure in a regulated environment • Participate in architectural planning, code reviews, and operational design to ensure high-quality, scalable solutions • Act as a hands-on contributor: design, develop, maintain, and scale Coupa’s platform systems and services • Support the effort to containerize a suite of applications to reduce cost and improve efficiency • Develop and drive long-term strategies and roadmaps aligning with business priorities in partnership with Dev and Product Management teams • Improve the reliability and scalability of hosted products • Take full ownership of products, sustainably deliver high-quality features, and manage technical debt • Share knowledge across teams and contribute to hack days and cross-team collaboration

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree with 15+ years of professional experience handling large scale production systems • Experience with AWS or comparable cloud providers with certification • Experience in designing new services on AWS or comparable cloud provider, migration of services to cloud and deployment of new services on AWS or comparable cloud provider • Hands on experience with Ruby • Hands on experience with Terraform • Experience with configuration management tools like Chef, Ansible or equivalent • Experience in application support/development on Ruby • Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, EKS, AKS, ECS) • Experience building & running modern full-stack cloud applications using public cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP) reliably and at scale • Experience in observability tools like NewRelic, Datadog • Expertise in problem solving and analyzing global scale distributed systems • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Critical thinking and continuous improvement mindset
