📋 Description

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and develop new features for the Cracker Barrel mobile application • Work closely with designers to ensure that the user interface and experience align with Cracker Barrel's brand identity and standards • Develop and maintain the overall architecture of mobile applications, ensuring they are scalable, maintainable, and high-performing • Collaborate with backend teams to design and integrate with external APIs/data sources to provide dynamic functionality within the app • Provide technical guidance to development teams, mentoring and supporting engineers in best practices for mobile development • Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability • Assess and recommend mobile frameworks, tools, and platforms for cross-platform development (e.g., React Native, Flutter) • Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency • Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications • Identify and correct bottlenecks and implement strategies for optimization, focusing on both frontend and backend components • Help maintain code quality, organization, and automatization • Continuously monitor app performance and user feedback to identify areas for improvement and optimization.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field • 5+ years of Mobile Architect experience • Knowledge of CI/CD processes and tools • Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect Android applications to back-end services • Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines • Strong communication and interpersonal skills • Knowledge of modern Android and iOS architectural patterns • Experience with cloud message APIs and push notifications • Understanding of Google’s Android design principles and interface guidelines • Previous experience working in an Agile/Scrum development environment • Proficiency in mobile programming languages (Swift, Kotlin, Java, JavaScript) • Experience with cross-platform development frameworks (React Native, Flutter, Xamarin) • Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and backend integration • Familiarity with mobile security best practices.
