📋 Description

• Provide executive leadership and strategic direction for a multi-faceted Data Engineering organization spanning multiple product lines or technological domains • Define and champion the long-term technology vision, data analytics and AI strategy, architecture, and roadmap • Lead and mentor a team of senior data engineering leaders • Drive the execution of strategic data engineering initiatives • Collaborate with C-level executives and other senior leaders across the company • Oversee strategic workforce planning, talent acquisition, and organizational development • Champion a culture of innovation in data processing • Lead modernization of the enterprise data platform on Google Cloud Platform (BigQuery) • Drive implementation of a Medallion Data Architecture (Bronze, Silver, Gold) and reusable enterprise data products

🎯 Requirements

• 15+ years of extensive experience in data engineering • 7+ years in executive leadership roles overseeing large, complex engineering organizations • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field • Proven track record of defining and executing enterprise-wide data strategy that drives significant business impact and advancements in data capabilities
