📋 Description

• Assist with administration of all benefits and retirement programs • Coordinate U.S. and Canada leave of absence activities, including disability, FMLA, workers' compensation, personal leaves, reporting, HRIS updates, payroll activities, and benefit-premium collection • Provide day-to-day benefits support and handle escalated employee questions for the United States and Canada • Enroll participants in the Employee Share Purchase Plan, submit data updates, and conduct audits • Assist with the annual U.S. open enrollment process • Monitor weekly benefit import error and update reports and resolve discrepancies with the HRIS team • Review weekly 401(k) enrollments, submit data changes, audit contribution updates, and resolve discrepancies • Submit Canada benefit continuation forms for terminated employees • Partner with vendors and the HR Team to improve communication about wellness and benefit offerings • Assist with developing and implementing benefits programs, policies, and procedures • Maintain and improve benefits-related Standard Operating Procedures and the company intranet • Resolve escalated employee concerns regarding benefit plans and enrollment • Assist with required reporting and notifications, including workers' compensation, ACA, and Medicare Part D reporting • Evaluate and recommend process improvements

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum of a two-year degree or equivalent experience • Minimum of two years' experience in benefits and/or leave administration • Excellent customer service skills • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Strong organizational skills • Strong attention to detail • Ability to multitask • Ability to adapt and respond to changing work situations and environments • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel • Resourceful, with a strong sense of ownership in assigned projects and tasks • Workday HRIS experience is a plus
