📋 Description

• Create, edit and produce video content daily for multiple platforms. • File video clips (with an eye toward vertical video) for digital platforms while working with digital teams and multimedia elements. • Write stories for print, web and mobile audiences, tailoring content to meet the varying needs of those platforms. • Initiate and develop ideas for enterprise stories and investigative projects. • Cultivate sources and establish expertise to break stories and set the news agenda.

🎯 Requirements

• A journalism degree or diploma • At least five years of experience in a fast-paced and evolving media environment • Proven ability to deliver accurate and compelling news reports and videos on tight deadlines • Superior writing skills and news judgment • A respected social media footprint • Familiarity with appearing on video • Proficiency in Final Cut Pro, Photoshop and WordPress • Experience with JW player an asset • Applicant must own a reliable vehicle with insurance for work purposes.
