📋 Description

• The General Manager has absolute functional and profit and loss responsibility for the management, operation and maintenance of the Hawthorne Army Depot in Hawthorne NV • Directs the performance of the work force through subordinate executives and managers by delegation of authority, policy approval, interpretation of directives, planning, and evaluation • Ensure compliance with all federal, military, state and local guidelines pertaining to SOC and the operations at the Hawthorne Army Depot. • Work requires the exercise of discretion and independent judgment • Perform other duties of the same or lower level of difficulty as assigned • Maintain high ethical standards, overall values of the business, and the Code of Ethics and Standards of Business Conduct to include cooperating during Company investigations; treat all individuals fairly and with respect

🎯 Requirements

• B.S. /B.A. in Management or a Technical field • 10-15 years experience in top management positions of increasing responsibility within a diverse organization • Background in fixed-price and cost-reimbursable government contract management, munitions logistics/GOCO operations for the Government preferred • Must be able to obtain and maintain all certifications as required by SOC's Master Training Plan • Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid State of Nevada driver’s license • Must be able to obtain and maintain the apropriate level of security clearance as well as a clearance through the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms • Must be able to perform work duties, routinely, in a safe and effective manner, remaining alert and aware of potential work/safety hazards at all time, and especially alert while performing safety sensitive duties
