📋 Description

• Deliver interfaces for managing individual assets and large fleets of autonomous and unmanned systems • Design and implement data-rich UIs reflecting real-time and distributed system state • Develop workflows for deploying, updating, and monitoring systems across edge, remote, and disconnected environments • Handle complex state management and asynchronous data flows • Integrate frontend applications with backend APIs, platform services, and communications technologies • Improve usability and clarity for complex operational workflows • Partner with UX to translate complex system behavior into intuitive experiences • Evaluate methods for solving complex technical problems and identify innovative solutions • Develop and integrate software supporting reliable operations across edge and remote environments • Implement infrastructure as code and help build and maintain Kubernetes clusters across distributions such as EKS and RKE2 • Apply secure software development practices, cloud-native deployment methods, vulnerability remediation, and infrastructure automation • Collaborate with backend, platform, product, and UX teams • Translate operational requirements into technical solutions and contribute to the strategic direction of the Autonomous and Unmanned Systems portfolio

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in frontend or full-stack software development • Strong proficiency with modern frontend frameworks, especially Svelte or React; Angular or similar acceptable • Strong familiarity with modern frontend tooling and build-system best practices • Experience with frontend application testing strategies • Experience building data-intensive or state-heavy applications • Strong understanding of API design and integration, including REST and GraphQL • Experience working closely with backend systems and distributed architectures • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to navigate complex systems • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with technical teams and operational end users • U.S. Citizenship • Ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI security clearance • Preferred: experience with RF communications, tactical radios, mesh networks, or distributed communications technologies • Preferred: experience integrating software aboard autonomous or unmanned systems • Preferred: experience designing for constrained, disconnected, or unreliable networks • Preferred: experience with Special Operations or Department of Defense mission customers • Preferred: experience building interfaces for infrastructure, DevOps, or platform systems • Preferred: familiarity with Kubernetes, containers, or distributed systems • Preferred: experience with CI/CD and deployment pipelines • Preferred: contributions to open-source or developer tooling projects
