📋 Description

• You operate and administer diverse Linux environments (e.g., Debian, RHEL, Ubuntu) and ensure our systems remain performant, secure, and highly available at all times • With your automation expertise—ideally in Ansible or comparable tools—you ensure recurring tasks are efficient, reproducible, and well documented • Monitoring is not an afterthought for you but a central element of stable operations • Tools such as CheckMK or Grafana help you spot optimization needs early and proactively initiate the right measures • Support the team in operating Atlassian Data Center, participating in updates, maintenance, and system improvements • Work on proxy configurations and load balancers • Collaborate actively with our technical teams to ensure smooth, modern IT operations • Work in a structured, transparent, and solution-oriented way to keep our systems at a top level.

🎯 Requirements

• 3–5 years of proven professional experience as a Linux administrator, preferably in an industrial or mission-critical environment • Confident mastery of at least one major Linux distribution • Automation is part of your professional standard, and you use tools like Ansible routinely • Familiar with monitoring stacks such as CheckMK or Grafana and able to quickly identify where action is needed • Basic knowledge of network architectures, particularly proxies and load balancing • Prior hands-on experience with Atlassian Data Center — a key part of this role • Solid foundational knowledge of relational databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL • You communicate precisely and reliably in German at C1 level; you are also comfortable and competent in English-speaking environments • Able to undergo security screening (SÜ2) • Occasional business travel (max. 10 days/year) is not an obstacle for you.
