📋 Description

• Record, clip and catalog media segments for rapid response needs and for long-term research projects • Research and analyze trends in local and national news as well as in raw video content • Compile video or audio-based clips for media coverage reports • Additional specific research responsibilities, as directed

🎯 Requirements

• Strong knowledge of current events relating to Congress, the White House, the Republican Party, and upcoming campaign cycles, with the ability to keep up with the 24-hour news cycle • Basic understanding of video files and formats, with a demonstrated ability to quickly learn new tech-based databases • Experience with media monitoring services and clipping tools strongly preferred (including but not limited to LexisNexis, SnapStream, TVEyes, and Snagit) • Ability to work independently, ask questions, remain responsive, and keep open lines of communication in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
