📋 Description

• Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes under the direction of senior accounting staff • Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules for review • Reconcile subledger activity to general ledger balances, identify discrepancies, and escalate issues • Support variance analysis on balance sheet and income statement accounts • Assist with financial reporting deliverables for management and corporate reporting, including segment-level support • Post payroll-related journal entries in NetSuite under senior guidance • Support general ledger accounting with documentation and audit-ready transaction support • Maintain accounting process documentation and support internal controls and company policies • Assist with ad hoc reporting, analysis, and special projects • Support process improvement and operational efficiency initiatives

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance • 2–4 years of accounting experience in public accounting or industry • Hands-on experience or coursework in account reconciliations, journal entries, and variance analyses • Exposure to payroll accounting processes and related journal entries • Basic working knowledge of US GAAP and financial reporting principles • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, lookups, and data analysis • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills • Effective written and verbal communication skills • Demonstrated attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment • CPA or actively pursuing CPA licensure preferred • Master’s degree, 150 credit hours toward CPA licensure, NetSuite or similar ERP experience, and high-volume or technology-enabled business experience preferred
