• This is a remote position. • For over 40 years, DLB Associates has led the way in high-performing, mission-critical technology spaces. • Our innovative culture embraces the latest technology. • If you're passionate about pushing the boundaries of engineering, DLB is your place to thrive. • The Electrical Engineer Senior Specialist will collaborate with all design staff and oversee full cycle electrical design activities. • This person will work closely with the Project Management Team to produce construction documents and develop project specifications. • The Electrical Engineer Senior Specialist will execute and lead design teams and projects of complex scope. • May coordinate activities of other personnel. • They will communicate and operate in line with organizational goals and values, as well as departmental objectives.

🎯 Requirements

• Knowledge of electrical systems found in buildings including single/three phase power distribution, lighting and lighting controls, grounding and life safety systems • Knowledge of codes and specifications for the design of electrical systems including National Electric Code, Life Safety and Energy Conservation Codes • Knowledge of technical / design software including short circuit coordination and arc flash studies, equipment sizing, underground feeder calculations and lighting calculations • Knowledge of various electrical topologies and distribution systems • Skilled at producing drawings and visual aids using AutoCAD and Revit • Skilled at using MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams), along with exceptional organizational skills for file management • Skilled in performing code analysis including selection of equipment, wiring, etc. to meet code requirements • Skilled in completing assignments accurately and with attention to detail • Ability to work successfully in a remote environment thru effective communication and organizational skills, self-motivation, proactiveness and resourcefulness in a distraction free workspace • Ability to follow company and site safety requirements • Ability to analyze and prepare documents, reports and correspondence • Ability to communicate effectively in both oral and written form (technical and non-technical information) • Ability to communicate effectively directly with clients and at times serve as primary point of client contact • Ability to work successfully as a member of a team and independently with moderate supervision • Ability to work under pressure and meet close deadlines • Ability to effectively plan and delegate the work of others • Organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
