📋 Description

• Assess regulatory frameworks for new LATAM markets and support expansion initiatives. • Evaluate operational flows, market models, and product designs to ensure alignment with local regulations. • Support the evaluation, application, and ongoing maintenance of licenses, registrations, and approvals. • Partner with product, commercial, legal, and operations teams to analyze new opportunities, client models, and use cases from a regulatory perspective. • Translate regulatory requirements into clear guidance for internal stakeholders and business decisions. • Support engagement with regulators, central banks, and supervisory authorities. • Coordinate submissions, inquiries, inspections, and information requests. • Work closely with external counsel to ensure consistency in regulatory positioning and interpretations. • Conduct periodic regulatory reviews of existing operations to ensure ongoing compliance. • Monitor regulatory changes across LATAM and assess their impact on dLocal’s operations, reporting obligations, and licensing status. • Partner with internal teams to design remediation plans when regulatory gaps are identified.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Law, Public Policy, Regulatory Affairs, or related fields (Master’s is a plus). • Experience in regulatory, legal, or public policy roles within fintech, payments, or financial services. • Strong understanding of LATAM regulatory frameworks. • Ability to analyze and interpret regulations, assess new products and markets, and advise cross-functional teams. • Strategic mindset, strong analytical skills, and attention to detail. • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills. • Fluent in English and proficient in Spanish. Portuguese is a plus.
