📋 Description

• Build the first prototype of a mobile passive metering tool • Share ideas and expertise within the team • Build and deploy a passive metering tool using an on-device mobile VPN • Write tests and improve overall code quality • Research and improve software development skills

🎯 Requirements

• Expert-level understanding of Swift or Objective-C, iOS SDK, and app publishing in iOS App Store • Networking at all layers of the protocol stack and iOS internals • iOS Network Extension Framework and Packet Tunnels • TCP/UDP, HTTPS networking, SSL/TLS, VPNs, and forward proxies • Man-in-the-middle attacks and tools like mitmproxy • Certificate-pinning and its detection • Significant experience with a scripting language (Python or Ruby) • Experience with Git, CI/CD, Bash, SSH, Charles, Wireshark, and Chrome DevTools • Nice-to-have: Experience in Java or Kotlin, Android SDK, and Google Play Store publishing • Experience working with Docker containers or AWS
