📋 Description

• Lead and drive technical initiatives that impact company and area-level directions • Actively partner with Engineering Manager and all engineering teams across the tech organization • Provide accountability for the technical initiatives led • Work closely with the technical leaders of the area and the company to develop effective technical strategy • Act as a point of reference for Engineering teams regarding Reliability, Resiliency, High Availability, Scalability, Observability, Performance, and Incident Response • Provide technical guidance, mentorship, and coaching inside and outside the team • Actively take part in the incident response and management process • Contribute to continuously enhancing systems and mentoring technical leaders across teams

🎯 Requirements

• Solid technical background related to the cloud infrastructure and the whole SDLC process • Ability to support and unblock engineering teams in complex technical discussions • Lean, proactive, value driven mindset for reliability initiatives • Strong experience in working with web applications and a holistic understanding of complex systems • Strong relational database expertise • Proven experience of working with AWS, Kubernetes, IaC • At least 4+ years of experience in SRE practices: observability and monitoring (preferably DataDog), incident management, performance and costs improvements, hands on SLO implementation • Experience in cross-team initiative and creating buy-in for technical initiatives • Experience designing/implementing/delivering high-quality and impactful solutions, plus mentoring less experienced engineers • Excellent communication skills • Track record of shaping technical and process decisions
