📋 Description

‱ Lead and drive technical initiatives that impact company and area-level directions ‱ Actively partner with Engineering Manager and all engineering teams across the tech organization ‱ Provide accountability for the technical initiatives led ‱ Work closely with the technical leaders of the area and the company to develop effective technical strategy ‱ Act as a point of reference for Engineering teams regarding Reliability, Resiliency, High Availability, Scalability, Observability, Performance, and Incident Response ‱ Provide technical guidance, mentorship, and coaching inside and outside the team ‱ Actively take part in the incident response and management process ‱ Contribute to continuously enhancing systems and mentoring technical leaders across teams

🎯 Requirements

‱ Solid technical background related to the cloud infrastructure and the whole SDLC process ‱ Ability to support and unblock engineering teams in complex technical discussions ‱ Lean, proactive, value driven mindset for reliability initiatives ‱ Strong experience in working with web applications and a holistic understanding of complex systems ‱ Strong relational database expertise ‱ Proven experience of working with AWS, Kubernetes, IaC ‱ At least 4+ years of experience in SRE practices: observability and monitoring (preferably DataDog), incident management, performance and costs improvements, hands on SLO implementation ‱ Experience in cross-team initiative and creating buy-in for technical initiatives ‱ Experience designing/implementing/delivering high-quality and impactful solutions, plus mentoring less experienced engineers ‱ Excellent communication skills ‱ Track record of shaping technical and process decisions
