📋 Description
• Advocate for personal injury clients: guide them through every step of their case and ensure timely communication about appointments and deadlines • Arrange transportation for medical treatments when necessary and address client needs with empathy • Open and manage client files in case management software, track progress, and gather required documents, forms, and authorizations • Order medical records, obtain photos, and fulfill FOIA requests • Collaborate with law firm counterparts, insurance companies, medical providers, and Client Case Manager Auditors to facilitate communication and address deficiencies • Manage medical requests and treatment plans, oversee case billings, budgets, and timelines, and prepare essential reports • Adhere to software policies, procedures, and meet or exceed Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
🎯 Requirements
• Extensive knowledge of healthcare and legal processes within personal injury • Working knowledge of medical records, legal documents, and HIPAA practices • A minimum of two years of legal case management experience preferred • Prior insurance industry experience preferred • Superior follow-up, organizational, and document management skills • Fluent English at a C1 level or above (written and verbal) • Bilingual abilities are a significant plus • Ability to work autonomously and integrate into a team-oriented environment • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or similar software and strong typing skills • Willingness to learn new technologies and software • Compassionate client interaction and professionalism with attorneys and experts • High School Diploma required; BS/BA in Business or equivalent experience preferred; Paralegal certificate a plus • Independent contractor must provide own equipment and handle self-employment taxes per local laws
