• Take ownership of complex technical problems, leading the design and implementation of solutions • Be an active leader within of our engineering team, working together with the other developers and mentoring them to help them grow their skills in a productive and challenging environment • Have a strong data-driven mindset when assessing the value that our work has for customers • Act as a bridge between business requirements and technical implementation, ensuring we are building the right things the right way

🎯 Requirements

• You should have strong backend experience (expert level in Elixir or similar languages) and some experience with frontend frameworks. • You have experience leading technical initiatives, from architectural design to delivery. • You should demonstrate a desire to continuously learn to improve your technical, communication and other soft skills. • You have a clear interest in leadership and management pathways; you enjoy helping others succeed as much as you enjoy shipping code. • You value and enjoy working in a small team, collaborating closely with other engineers as well as members of other teams. • You can provide new and diverse viewpoints for our technical and product discussions and be comfortable making (and standing by) technical decisions. • You are interested in, and have a view on agile practices such as continuous delivery, TDD, pair programming, code reviews and retrospectives. • You have a strong track record of mentoring engineers and a proactive view on how to foster a high-performing, happy team. • You should have some experience mentoring engineers and a view on how to create a productive team. • You are keen to ensure there is a high standard of quality and security in the software we produce as a team. • You can work in the same timezone as the rest of the team (flexible)
