📋 Description

• Support GeneDx’s social media strategy and align it with short- and long-term company goals • Set and report monthly and quarterly social media goals and improve internal processes • Identify platform, healthcare, biotech, and social media trends and monitor competitor activity • Conceptualize and write organic social posts for Facebook, Instagram, X, LinkedIn, and YouTube • Design and manage the organic social publishing calendar across campaigns, launches, awareness moments, and corporate initiatives • Partner with the Creative team on messaging and social media creative • Test, measure, and optimize social content performance • Develop and manage the social content library, including polls, infographics, videos, and carousels • Manage and grow GeneDx’s LinkedIn newsletter strategy • Lead and support the employee social advocacy program • Identify social storytelling opportunities that elevate the GeneDx brand and humanize its genomics mission • Partner cross-functionally to develop stories, milestones, customer experiences, and thought leadership content • Pilot new content formats, campaigns, creator collaborations, and platform-specific storytelling approaches • Translate complex healthcare and genomics topics into accessible social content • Manage day-to-day social monitoring and engagement • Partner with customer service and management teams to respond to direct messages • Identify trends, share insights, escalate risks, and monitor sentiment and community feedback

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree with 7–10 years of experience in social media, content marketing, digital marketing, communications, or a related field • At least 3 years of professional experience creating content across multiple social media platforms, including LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, X, and emerging channels • Experience managing social media editorial calendars, newsletters, and employee advocacy initiatives • Experience with social media management and analytics tools, including Google Analytics, LinkedIn Analytics, Meta Business Suite, Sprout Social, and/or similar platforms • Understanding of graphic design fundamentals and professional experience with Canva, Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, or other graphic design programs • Professional expertise crafting compelling, scroll-stopping social content; B2B experience desired • Strong storytelling instincts and ability to translate complex topics into engaging social-first content • Attention to detail and accuracy, including proofing copy, creating UTM/tracking parameters, and measuring creative performance • Ability to interact professionally with healthcare provider customers, patients and families, employees, and company leaders • Ability to manage multiple projects and reprioritize deliverables • Excellent data analysis, reporting, communication, and presentation skills • Healthcare industry or regulated-environment experience desired but not required • No certificates, licenses, or registrations required
