📋 Description

• Lead and mentor multiple engineering managers and senior technical staff • Define and drive the technical strategy and roadmap • Establish and refine engineering processes, best practices, and metrics for quality, delivery, and scalability • Ensure that engineering teams deliver secure, high-performing, and maintainable software across platforms • Oversee system architecture and long-term technical planning • Drive a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure cohesive delivery • Proactively identify and mitigate technical risks, manage dependencies, and ensure reliability and uptime • Guide resource planning, hiring, and organizational development • Communicate clearly and effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience • 12+ years of experience in software engineering, with 5+ years in engineering leadership roles • Proven ability to lead distributed engineering teams in a remote-first environment • Strong technical foundation in Node.js, TypeScript, and modern web architectures (React, microservices, RESTful APIs) • Experience overseeing high-traffic, production-grade systems and modern DevOps practices • Familiarity with AWS, Docker, Linux, and CI/CD pipelines • Legally eligible to work in Canada and/or the U.S.
