📋 Description
• Provide technical leadership and architectural direction for software development projects • Define and implement best practices in design, coding, testing, and deployment • Collaborate with product owners, designers, and stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions • Participate in and oversee development, testing, and release management processes • Evaluate and recommend new technologies, tools, and frameworks to enhance performance and efficiency • Mentor and coach developers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement • Conduct code reviews and enforce quality standards across the codebase • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues; manage and reduce technical debt • Maintain and improve system performance, scalability, and security • Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders to ensure alignment and transparency
🎯 Requirements
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience • 10+ years of experience in commercial software development • Extensive experience with Node.js and TypeScript • Strong understanding of HTTP, RESTful API design, and microservices architecture • React experience preferred • Familiarity with .NET is a plus • Proven experience building and maintaining high-traffic, production-grade systems • Experience with automated testing and CI/CD practices • Proficiency with AWS, Docker, Linux, and bash scripting (preferred) • Legally eligible to work in Canada and/or the U.S
