📋 Description

• Support the compliance strategy and continuous readiness for all required frameworks. • Assist as the Data Protection Officer for GDPR and oversee HIPAA privacy requirements. • Manage and update compliance policies, procedures, and documentation. • Coordinate with auditors and ensure all evidence is collected on time. • Support vendor risk management and ensure compliance clauses are in place. • Monitor regulatory changes and update internal policies accordingly. • Assist in cross-department coordination for compliance initiatives. • Report compliance status to executive leadership.

🎯 Requirements

• Demonstrated ability to differentiate between SOC 2, ISO 27001, HIPAA, and GDPR, understand their respective requirements, and be capable of supporting the development of policies aligned with these standards. • Experience using compliance management platforms such as Vanta —or similar tools (e.g., Secureframe, Drata) that support framework-based policy development and implementation— is a must-have requirement. • Bachelor’s degree in Law, IT, Business, Cybersecurity, or a related field. • 2+ years in compliance, audit, privacy, or information security, or equivalent strong foundational knowledge and a genuine capacity for growth. • Knowledge of SOC 2, ISO 27001, HIPAA, and GDPR frameworks. • Relevant security certifications such as Security+, CISA, CRISC, CISM, CISSP (Preferred). • Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to influence across departments. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. • Strong communication skills. • Capable of handling sensitive information with discretion.
