📋 Description

• Draft, review, negotiate, and close complex commercial agreements with customers, suppliers, and strategic partners across Europe • Partner with regional sales, business development, and operations teams to design and implement strategies supporting high-growth go-to-market initiatives • Monitor and interpret evolving European legal and regulatory developments including data protection, technology, and AI-related frameworks and apply this knowledge to contract drafting and risk assessment • Develop, maintain, and localize contract templates, playbooks, and policies to reflect regional requirements and industry best practices • Provide clear, pragmatic, commercially focused legal advice to cross-functional teams, balancing innovation with regulatory compliance • Contribute to scaling the Legal Team’s commercial function across Europe and foster a collaborative, solutions-oriented team culture

🎯 Requirements

• A qualified lawyer in Ireland, the UK, or another common law jurisdiction with ability to practice in your location • 6-12 years of relevant post-qualification legal experience (in-house technology or SaaS experience strongly preferred) • Demonstrated expertise in commercial contracts, SaaS and software licensing, technology transactions, data protection, and intellectual property • Particular familiarity with GDPR and other European regulatory frameworks • Strong commercial acumen and ability to balance legal risk with business objectives in a high-growth environment • Comfortable working independently and collaborating effectively with global cross-functional teams • Proactive, business-minded, and committed to delivering practical legal solutions • Curious about AI and emerging technologies and able to apply legal expertise to cutting-edge products
