• Develop and execute a comprehensive sales and marketing strategy to achieve annual growth targets and expand Embrace’s footprint in higher education. • Manage the full sales lifecycle from lead generation and qualification through product demonstrations, proposals, and contract close. • Partner with the marketing team to design and execute digital campaigns, webinars, and conference sponsorships to increase brand awareness and lead volume. • Establish and maintain strategic relationships with state systems, consortiums, and key decision-makers within higher education institutions. • Collaborate with product management on new product piloting and market feedback loops to refine positioning and pricing. • Create sales forecasts, pipeline reports, and performance dashboards using CRM tools. • Strong understanding of consultative and solution-based sales, especially within complex RFP/RFQ environments. • Represent Embrace at industry events, conferences, and customer meetings.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or related field (MBA preferred). • 5+ years of SaaS or B2B enterprise sales experience within higher education a requirement. • Proven success in meeting or exceeding annual sales quotas ($1M+). • Strong understanding of solution selling, consultative sales, and long-cycle enterprise procurement (RFP/RFQ) processes. • Experience managing multi-channel marketing campaigns (email, digital, events). • Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills. • Comfortable working in a dynamic, entrepreneurial environment with both strategic and hands-on responsibilities. • Experience working with offshore teams considered an asset.
