📋 Description

• Design and implement OCI-based cloud architectures that meet performance, scalability, and security requirements. • Develop Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or Resource Manager for OCI. • Collaborate with application architects, DevOps, and security teams to integrate cloud solutions with enterprise systems. • Evaluate and recommend OCI services and features to optimize workloads and reduce operational costs. • Create detailed design documentation, architecture diagrams, and deployment guides. • Ensure compliance with security policies, governance frameworks, and industry best practices. • Troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues and provide root cause analysis and remediation strategies. • Participate in cloud migration initiatives, including lift-and-shift, re-platforming, and re-architecting legacy systems. • Stay current with OCI updates, emerging cloud technologies, and industry trends.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related technology/engineering discipline required • 10+ years of IT engineering experience required • 5+ years of experience working in a cloud engineering position required • 5+ years of direct working experience on Oracle required • Experience with technical writing and defending technology decisions • Experience in providing escalated operations support required • Good communication and collaboration skills • Authorized to work in Canada without the need for sponsorship now and in the future
