📋 Description

• End-to-end development for new and current cloud-based applications, including designing solutions, feature development, optimisation and maintenance • Debugging and performing root cause analysis for application issues • Recommend improvements to the development process and proactively identify application pain points with mitigation strategies • Perform peer reviews of code changes and testing of new features, enhancements and bug fixes • Maintain documentation and help articles for new/updated features and provide training sessions for the support team • Work closely with Product Owners, business stakeholders and cross-functional agile teams to deliver on the technology roadmap • Contribute to modernising and scaling the core platform serving 300,000+ customers

🎯 Requirements

• Proficiency in React and at least one backend language (Python, Java, PHP, etc.) • Knowledge of correct design patterns for code and how to transform existing code to implement them • Experience developing software using microservices or SOA architecture, deployed on public clouds (AWS) • Experience using Agile methodologies and working with Product teams • Quality coding practices including test-driven development, unit testing and secure coding awareness • Team player with highly adaptable and versatile approach to work • Good verbal and written English skills • Willingness to upskill in Ruby (training provided)
