• Imagine a day where you're shaping the future of nuclear energy—designing strategic BWR fuel cycles, mentoring talented engineers, and ensuring technical excellence across reactor operations. • You collaborate with site teams and clients to solve complex challenges, driving innovation and safety across the board. • BWR Fuel Cycle & Core Design: BWR Fuel cycle and core design including potential strategic fuel design evaluations. • Support BWR reload activities. • Maintain detailed BWR core models to support site reactor engineering and other plant functions. • Technical Accuracy & Analysis: Verify technical accuracy of calculations, evaluations, models and licensing documents in accordance with regulatory requirements and procedures. • Apply your knowledge of BWR nuclear fuels analyses and related computer codes to address requests at the sites. • Collaboration & Communication: Interface with co-workers and client counterparts to ensure project understanding and for business development. • Leadership & Mentorship: Mentor staff and develop technical capabilities. Oversee the technical accuracy of products and deliverables.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Nuclear Engineering or similar engineering field • 10 years of experience in the nuclear power industry, specifically working on nuclear fuels and core design for BWRs • Must possess excellent written and oral communication skills • Willing to support occasional travel to client sites and offices, as requested • Advanced degree in a field of engineering preferred • Experience with 10CFR50.59 screening and evaluations preferred • Ability to gain and maintain unescorted access at nuclear sites
