📋 Description

• Collaborate with the Procurement team to lead, design, implement, and evaluate Food Banks Canada programs, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and responsiveness to network needs • Lead specific programs and program related deliverables for internal and external stakeholders, ensuring effective execution and impact • Collaborate with Procurement team, lead, design, and deliver program communications to the network, enhancing awareness, engagement and participation in procurement initiatives • For assigned programs, lead the full purchasing cycle, including; product sourcing, negotiations, creating purchase orders, coordinating with vendors, managing invoicing and invoice tracking to ensure timely and accurate financial reconciliation • Collaborate effectively to cultivate strong vendor and donor relations as well as maintaining relationships through regular stewardship and recognition • Work alongside the Procurement team and the Project and Evaluations team to develop and execute program evaluations • Ensure data collection and administrative workflows follow best practices to support timely reporting, maintaining high standards of data quality and integrity • Serve as a key point of contact for vendors, donors and the network providing consultation, ongoing support, technical assistance and leading the creation and distribution of program resources • Maintain and optimize program technology, ensuring platforms and information are current and accurate, and effectively support program operations • Collaborate cross-functionally with other Food Bank Canada teams to support integrated program delivery and shared goals • Other duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• Completion of a post-secondary college diploma program or equivalent • Minimum 4 years’ relevant experience • Project coordination and issue management skills; ability to effectively coordinate multiple projects, deadlines, and priorities • Analytical mindset with the ability to organize data • Clear, professional, and warm communicator • Superior listening skills with the ability to interpret the concerns and interests of different groups of stakeholders • Professional presence, with a positive attitude and self-starter, accountable approach project management • Effective interpersonal skills and success in working in a team environment • Problem solver and professionally curious with a strong interest in the mission of Food Banks Canada • Excellent writer with experience developing effective communications materials for a variety of audiences • Bilingualism (English/French) is an asset
