📋 Description

• Maintain complete accuracy and integrity from data entry through financial statement preparation • Ensure month-end close is completed by the 5th of the month • Oversee all client accounting systems including Quickbooks Online, Xero, Hubdoc, DEXT • Stay in tune with client feedback, questions, and updates • Review your own work critically and bring forward solutions and process improvements • Manage your client files efficiently • Continuously look for opportunities to streamline and standardize processes • Provide troubleshooting, support, and proactive advice for clients and team members • Understand each client’s broader business activities, taxes, plans, and forecasts • Master the software tools used (both internal and client-facing) • Maintain clear, detailed, and up-to-date process documentation for all your tasks

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of full-cycle accounting experience • Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business • Working towards your Canadian CPA Designation • Self-motivated, collaboratively focused • A willingness to constantly learn • Attention to detail • Excellent communication and organizational skills • Strong technical accounting skills and understanding • Tech Savvy (Experience using QuickBooks Online and/or Xero cloud accounting software an asset) • Experience with data analysis, financial statement analysis, financial planning, and reporting an asset • Experience in Canadian sales tax (GST/HST,PST etc.) is an asset
