📋 Description

• Keep an accurate and up-to-date register of all subscriptions and recurring spend. • Dig into spending patterns to uncover cost drivers, usage trends and opportunities to streamline. • Support month-end close with accurate accounting of accruals, prepayments and capital expenditure. • Own the PO approval process, ensuring everyone knows the rules and follows them. • Partner with budget holders to keep committed costs on track, challenge spend where needed and align with business priorities. • Work closely with stock, logistics, IT, operations and more to ensure spend is approved, allocated and controlled correctly. • Prepare journals and schedules relating to Group-wide expenditure for management accounts. • Add value by creating meaningful commentary to help executives make confident decisions. • Always be on the lookout for smarter, faster and better ways to analyse and report costs.

🎯 Requirements

• Experienced in cost control and financial management • Strong analytical and numerical skills • Proficient in Excel or similar spreadsheet software • Excellent communication skills for cross-department collaboration • Ability to identify trends and insights from financial data • Experience in budgeting and financial forecasting
