📋 Description

• Configure infrastructure and deploy applications on Windows IIS hosted platform • Work in partnership with Automation, Application Support and other infra teams through integration or dev/ops model • Ensure highly available environments and associated systems • Manage IIS web servers: website creation, bindings, app pools, virtual directories, backups and configuration • Implement and manage SSL, access control, authentication and security for web applications • Develop and operate Microsoft Azure PaaS/SaaS solutions and use Azure operational/monitoring tools • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and deployment orchestration (Octopus, Jenkins) • Implement containerisation and microservices using Docker and Kubernetes; create Dockerfiles and compose environments • Support/administrate MS SQL Server and Windows Server 2016/2019; troubleshoot production issues • Collaborate with system and database administrators and application support/development teams to troubleshoot performance • Produce and maintain technical and process documentation

🎯 Requirements

• 5 to 6 years overall experience • English language mandatory (writing, speaking, presenting) • Expertise on IIS 10 administration and .Net web applications • Experience in configuration of bindings, website creation/deletion • Experience in backup of website/configuration • Working knowledge of App Pools, Virtual Directory, Worker Process • Working knowledge of SSL, Access Control, Authentication, Implementing Security • Understanding of IIS, ASP.NET application deployment and troubleshooting • Understanding of .Net Framework • Microsoft Azure PaaS and SaaS solution development technologies (Azure Functions, .NET, JavaScript, Python) • Microsoft Azure operational and monitoring tools • Knowledge on deployment tools (preferably Octopus Deploy) • Scripting knowledge (PowerShell); Python and Bash basics • Knowledge of deployment orchestration and configuration management tools (Jenkins, Octopus Deploy, Docker, Kubernetes) • Created complete CI/CD pipeline • Implemented microservices using Docker and created Dockerfile and containers; used Docker Compose for DEV & QA • Knowledge on load balancers, DNS and HTTP/HTTPS request flow • Support/administration experience in MS SQL Server • Experience in Windows Server 2016/2019 administration and troubleshooting • ITIL process awareness (Change/Incident/Problem) - foundation certification preferred • Strong analytical and troubleshooting/problem-solving skills • Customer service orientation and ability to collaborate with Dev and Ops teams • Attention to detail, organizational and time management skills • Experience with ticketing tools (JIRA, ServiceNow) • Version control: Azure DevOps, TFS • Platforms: Windows, Linux • Database: MSSQL
