âą Analyze healthcare utilization, authorization, and claims data to identify trends, cost drivers, and improvement opportunities âą Perform complex data analysis using SQL, PowerBI, and Excel âą Update, review, and maintain actuarial or financial models for gainshare, ROI arrangements, and forecasting âą Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and performance metrics âą Automate and optimize recurring reports and ad hoc analyses âą Review and QA outputs, identify trends, and communicate key information to non-analytics teams âą Create exhibits, presentations, and narratives summarizing financial analyses and actuarial modeling results âą Partner with internal teams and external clients to gather requirements and deliver actionable insights âą Develop custom ad hoc logic with stakeholder direction and oversight âą Participate in standups, client calls, and cross-functional project teams âą Translate business questions into analytical problems and deliver data-driven solutions âą Identify data gaps, propose solutions, and guide resolution efforts âą Improve data reliability, reporting efficiency, and analytical methodologies âą Peer review reports and presentations and train junior team members in presentation best practices âą Contribute to scalable, repeatable analytics solutions âą Build and apply knowledge of U.S. healthcare systems, claims, reimbursement models, and regulatory frameworks âą Stay current on healthcare analytics industry trends and best practices
âą Bachelor's degree âą 4+ years of experience in healthcare data analysis or a similar role âą Strong proficiency in SQL, Excel, and data visualization tools âą Ability to join multiple data sources and use pivot tables and aggregation methods across multiple dimensions âą Proficiency with healthcare data, including medical, pharmacy, ancillary claims, membership, and clinical operational data âą Experience with value-based analyses or Medicaid preferred âą Experience with financial analysis, forecasting, or actuarial analyses preferred âą Exceptional analytical and mathematical skills preferred âą Ability to communicate complex analyses effectively preferred âą Demonstrated problem-solving skills and attention to detail preferred âą Ability to work in a highly matrixed environment and adapt to change preferred âą Progress toward Associate of the Society of Actuaries certification preferred âą High-speed internet over 10 Mbps at home âą Ability to complete identity verification, comprehensive background check, and in-person I-9 verification âą May be subject to drug screening prior to employment âą Government-issued photo ID required for identity verification âą Artificial intelligence tools prohibited during interviews
