📋 Description

• Analyze healthcare utilization, authorization, and claims data to identify trends, cost drivers, and improvement opportunities • Perform complex data analysis using SQL, PowerBI, and Excel • Update, review, and maintain actuarial or financial models for gainshare, ROI arrangements, and forecasting • Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and performance metrics • Automate and optimize recurring reports and ad hoc analyses • Review and QA outputs, identify trends, and communicate key information to non-analytics teams • Create exhibits, presentations, and narratives summarizing financial analyses and actuarial modeling results • Partner with internal teams and external clients to gather requirements and deliver actionable insights • Develop custom ad hoc logic with stakeholder direction and oversight • Participate in standups, client calls, and cross-functional project teams • Translate business questions into analytical problems and deliver data-driven solutions • Identify data gaps, propose solutions, and guide resolution efforts • Improve data reliability, reporting efficiency, and analytical methodologies • Peer review reports and presentations and train junior team members in presentation best practices • Contribute to scalable, repeatable analytics solutions • Build and apply knowledge of U.S. healthcare systems, claims, reimbursement models, and regulatory frameworks • Stay current on healthcare analytics industry trends and best practices

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree • 4+ years of experience in healthcare data analysis or a similar role • Strong proficiency in SQL, Excel, and data visualization tools • Ability to join multiple data sources and use pivot tables and aggregation methods across multiple dimensions • Proficiency with healthcare data, including medical, pharmacy, ancillary claims, membership, and clinical operational data • Experience with value-based analyses or Medicaid preferred • Experience with financial analysis, forecasting, or actuarial analyses preferred • Exceptional analytical and mathematical skills preferred • Ability to communicate complex analyses effectively preferred • Demonstrated problem-solving skills and attention to detail preferred • Ability to work in a highly matrixed environment and adapt to change preferred • Progress toward Associate of the Society of Actuaries certification preferred • High-speed internet over 10 Mbps at home • Ability to complete identity verification, comprehensive background check, and in-person I-9 verification • May be subject to drug screening prior to employment • Government-issued photo ID required for identity verification • Artificial intelligence tools prohibited during interviews
