• Act as trusted advisor and pre-sales technical manager for EXFO test & measurement solutions • Own pre-sales cycle: engage customers, support proposals, pricing estimates, resource requirements, timelines, SOW language, and acceptance test plans • Support sales team to close opportunities and achieve regional sales/business development objectives • Serve as technical interface between SEA customers, sales, product management, post-sale support, and R&D from HQ • Develop and deliver product presentations, demos, POC deployments and field trials • Ensure demo equipment deployment and adoption for trials; provide post-implementation onsite troubleshooting support • Maintain documented customer profiles and accurate CRM data for every quoted opportunity • Provide customer feedback to corporate HQ on features, issues, success stories, and competitive intelligence
🎯 Requirements
• 5+ years of experience selling in consultative, direct sales, and team environments • Degree in Telecommunications, Engineering (Electronics) or equivalent; Business degree an asset • Strong knowledge of fiber testing methodologies, high-speed transmission (100G/400G & above), optical spectrum, fiber monitoring, and wireless technology testing • Competent knowledge of reflectometry technology (OTDR) and ITU‑T standards for transmission system testing • Sound knowledge of transmission technologies: SDH, OTN, WDM, SyncE, PTP, CPRI, Fiber Channel • Strong knowledge in Fiber Optic Testing, PON, MPLS/IPVPN/Ethernet Technologies, DWDM • Telecom/Wireless/Wireline experience; telecom carrier (fixed line and wireless) knowledge • Familiarity with open global specifications (3GPP, 3GPP2) and wireless protocols (3G, 4G/LTE, 5G) • Competent knowledge and experience of network testing tools and monitoring systems • Familiar with MS Office, Visio, MS Project • Customer-facing experience; effective oral and written communication and presentation skills • Ability to combine technical mindset with understanding of customer business requirements and cross-sell products and services • Self-motivated, team player, self-starter, adaptable, strong planning and organizational skills • Ability and willingness to travel up to 50% • English proficiency (read/write/speak) mandatory; local languages advantageous • Any other combination of experience/studies will be considered
