📋 Description
• Process vendor invoices, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies. • Perform invoice matching and related accounting tasks within the system, ensuring timely and accurate postings. • Coordinate with vendors and internal departments to resolve discrepancies. • Manage weekly payment runs, including checks, wire transfers, and ACH, ensuring payments are made on schedule. • Reconcile vendor statements and maintain accurate AP records. • Support month-end closing by preparing AP accruals and account reconciliations. • Communicate with vendors to address inquiries, resolve disputes, and maintain positive relationships. • Collaborate with finance and operations teams to improve AP workflows and efficiency. • Provide support and assistance for other finance-related tasks across the team as needed.
🎯 Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred. • Mandatory: 3+ years of AP or general accounting experience. • Strong knowledge of accounts payable processes and internal controls. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel). • ERP or accounting system experience required. • Experience with Cargo-Wise preferred. • Experience with QuickBooks, NetSuite, or other ERP systems is a plus. • High attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills. • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively across teams. • Ability to handle high-volume transactions and meet strict deadlines.
