📋 Description

• Lead the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end processes to ensure timely and accurate reporting • Prepare and review journal entries, reconciliations, accruals, and supporting schedules • Maintain and enhance accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls in accordance with GAAP • Mentor and develop accounting team members while fostering collaboration and accountability • Partner cross-functionally with AP, Loan and Digital Assets Accounting, FP&A, and various departments to align accounting and reporting with business goals • Support audits and coordinate with external auditors to ensure a smooth and efficient process • Identify and implement automation and process improvements to drive efficiency and scalability • Contribute to special projects that enhance reporting, compliance, and operational excellence

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA preferred • 5+ years of progressive accounting experience (mix of public accounting and industry preferred) • Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and internal controls • Proven track record managing and mentoring accounting teams in fast-paced environments • Experience improving processes and leveraging automation to streamline operations • Advanced Excel or Google Sheets skills; familiarity with modern ERP systems • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to explain complex accounting topics clearly • Thrives in dynamic environments with evolving processes and competing priorities • Meticulous attention to detail paired with a solutions-oriented mindset • Self-starter comfortable managing multiple priorities and driving results in a dynamic environment • Hands-on experience with financial systems such as Sage Intacct, Netsuite, Brex, and Floqast
