📋 Description

• Lead and execute precast engineering and design tasks efficiently. • Collaborate with project teams to deliver structurally sound, cost-effective, and visually appealing precast concrete designs. • Perform and review structural analysis and calculations to ensure safety under various loads and conditions. • Select materials and components for precast concrete production that meet strength, durability, and sustainability standards. • Create accurate drawings, plans, and specifications for precast projects aligned with industry design standards. • Support cost estimation for materials. • Support Project Managers and Designers throughout the project lifecycle. • Promote, utilize and support QA/QC processes to guarantee quality deliverables. • Guide and mentor junior staff.

🎯 Requirements

• B.S. degree in Civil Engineering or a related field, Master’s preferred • 5 -10 years minimum Precast concrete design engineering experience • Experience in precast concrete design engineering for transportation infrastructure and underground structures preferred • Familiarity with ACI 318, ACI 350, ASCE-7, AASHTO • Familiarity with IBC codes a plus • Professional Engineering License (PE) preferred or ability to obtain it • Proficiency in AutoCAD & RISA 3D • Professional performance aligned with Fisher’s Mission, Vision, and Core Values • Dedicated to fostering trusting relationships through collaboration, integrity, respect, and active listening • Proven ability to deliver quality work through critical thinking, problem-solving, and sound judgment • Proactively own projects, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, growth environment. • Superior organizational and planning skills with keen attention to detail • Curious and improvement-minded, embracing feedback and continuously seeking better solutions.
