📋 Description

• This is a remote position. • The Senior Accountant will perform various accounting functions, including complex account reconciliations, preparing the general ledger for monthly, quarterly, and year-end closings, supporting the annual audit, and performing additional duties as assigned. • Support the period-end close procedures through the performance of balance sheet reconciliations, recording of adjusting journal entries, and completion of other accounting tasks as assigned. • Maintain accuracy and completeness of the general ledger and ensure its compliance with GAAP. • Monitor and report on key performance indicators to identify areas for improvement. • Proactively review current procedures and seek opportunities to improve upon current workflows. • Prepare balance sheet and Profit and Loss statement variance analysis for financial reporting. • Assist with annual audit preparations. Focus areas: expenses, prepaid expenses, accrued expenses, leases, inter-company transactions.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field. • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation preferred. • Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in accounting roles (a combination of public and private experience is preferred). • Strong knowledge of US GAAP and other accounting standards. • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. • Strong attention to detail and accuracy. • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
