• Develop, lead, and execute purchasing strategies for indirect spend categories. • Identify, evaluate, and qualify potential suppliers. • Negotiate contract terms of agreement and pricing. • Track and report key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness. • Craft negotiation strategies and close deals with optimal terms. • Partner with stakeholders to ensure clear requirements documentation. • Forecast price and market trends to identify changes of in the market. • Perform cost and scenario analysis, and benchmarking. • Assess, manage, and mitigate risks. • Seek and partner with reliable vendors and suppliers. • Determine quantity and timing of deliveries.
• Have a bachelor's degree in supply chain management, engineering, finance or accounting. • 3-5 years of work experience as a Buyer, Purchasing Officer, Category Owner or relevant role within procurement, finance or accounting. • Solid knowledge and understanding of procurement processes, policy, and systems. • Have proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, with excellent Excel skills. • Excellent negotiation, strong decision-making skills. • Ability to gather and analyze data and work with figures. • CPSM (Certified Professional in Supply Management), PMP or equivalent certification is a plus.
