• Design, build, test, deploy, and support hosted solutions for clients within the client’s private cloud or Azure cloud. • Build and support environments leveraging Windows Remote Desktop, Azure Virtual Desktop, or Citrix Cloud. • Design and implement technology solutions for customer environments and projects, ensuring compliance with client’s standards. • Install, configure, maintain, and support applications and servers in Microsoft Azure and client’s data centers. • Build servers and configure infrastructure to meet defined specifications and best practices. • Configure and deploy standalone or hybrid managed services in client environments. • Build, integrate, and support Microsoft Active Directory based on client requirements and client’s best practices. • Build and maintain Microsoft Office 365 email environments. • Demonstrate understanding of Fintech applications (e.g., Thomson Reuters, CCH), including configuration, performance management, updates, and support. • Migrate client data and applications from existing environments to client’s environments, ensuring functionality, adherence to standards, and client satisfaction. • Understand client workflows and provide technical direction and troubleshooting before, during, and after full client implementation. • Continuously document, evaluate, and drive maintenance and process improvement specifically within the client implementation environment. • Perform system engineering tasks including design, installations, upgrades, configuration, systems monitoring, troubleshooting, and support. • Script, automate, and orchestrate system provisioning and maintenance using DevOps tools and technologies to increase efficiency and consistency. • Perform real-time client support via phone and chat and respond to tickets submitted through portals or email. • Troubleshoot and resolve issues reported by client’s monitoring systems and clients. • Act as an escalation point for complex or new product deployments within the client’s technical teams. • Initiate and manage escalations with other teams, partners, or vendors while communicating resolution status to clients. • Implement process improvements, leveraging new tools and technologies as appropriate. • Provide analysis of new technologies to enhance the client implementation process and increase client satisfaction. • Suggest innovative and creative ideas to improve internal processes and service delivery. • Work with and supervise vendor interactions for installations and support. • Collaborate with other teams to improve resolution rates, reduce escalations, and support task automation. • Create and update knowledge documentation to assist in onboarding and skill development for client employees. • Train new and existing staff in technologies, systems, and related procedures. • Actively commit to professional development and continually improve technical and communication skills. • Participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation and perform occasional off-hours work as required. • Demonstrate flexibility in scheduling to meet position demands. • Cooperate with teammates to nurture a culture of openness, expertise, and strong client focus. • Accept additional duties as assigned from time to time.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in advanced systems engineering or cloud infrastructure roles. • Proven expertise designing, deploying, and managing Microsoft Azure environments — including Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD), VM management (Windows and Linux), host pool design, FSLogix profile management, and autoscaling. • Strong knowledge of networking and security, including VNet design, VPN Gateway, ExpressRoute, Load Balancer configuration, DNS management, SSL/TLS (Let's Encrypt/OpenSSL), and security tools such as Azure Firewall, WAF, DDoS protection, and Defender for Cloud. • Demonstrated experience in identity and access management, including Conditional Access, MFA, and Group Policy configuration. • Proficiency with monitoring and troubleshooting using tools like LogicMonitor, Azure Portal, and third-party analytics platforms; strong skills in event log tracing and diagnostic analysis. • Deep understanding of application and environment management, including CPA application support, proactive update and patch management, and infrastructure optimization for performance and cost efficiency. • Experience with RDS/Citrix architecture, deployment, and management (upgrades, migrations, and application delivery). • Proficiency in automation and configuration management, including PowerShell, Chocolatey, and other scripting tools to streamline systems provisioning and maintenance. • Working knowledge of DevOps and SRE practices, including infrastructure-as-code concepts and experience with Git for code deployment and version control. • Strong background in Microsoft server-based and Linux operating systems, SQL Server administration, and VMware virtualization technologies. • Experience supporting enterprise LAN/WAN environments, routers, switches, VPN, network load balancers, wireless access, and core networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, RADIUS, etc.). • Familiarity with regulatory compliance frameworks such as HIPAA, HI-TECH, and PCI-DSS. • Microsoft or Azure certifications preferred.
