📋 Description
• Manage the day-to-day accounting operations of the Company. • Ensure adherence to best accounting practices. • Preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports in collaboration with external partners • Ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial data and reports. • Develop annual budgets and financial forecasts. • Monitor and analyse budget variances and provide insights to management. • Develop and monitor internal controls and recommend improvements as necessary. • Prepare for and actively participate in the annual audit process. • Coordinate with external auditors to provide necessary documentation and ensure compliance with audit requirements. • Ensures compliance with all tax reporting requirements including income tax, VAT, and employment taxes. • Preparation and submission of VAT quarterly returns. • Collaborate closely with other departments to ensure financial documents are accurate and support business operations. • Provide financial expertise and support to various teams as needed. • Preparation of regulatory returns and ensuring adherence to relevant laws and regulations. • Responsible for monthly reconciliations. • Reconciliation and reporting of crypto transactions
🎯 Requirements
• Fully qualified accountant – 3+ years post-qualification experience. • Proven work experience in a similar position. • Strong understanding of financial reporting standards (IFRS), and their application in preparing accurate financial statements • While experience working in the audit profession would be considered favourably, this role requires experience in a senior role in finance, preferably within the fintech industry. • Knowledge and experience in handling cryptocurrency transactions, including accounting treatment
