📋 Description

• Responsible for Mechanical Nuclear Island Systems (MNI) engineering activities supporting the BWRX-300 SMR design • Overall ownership of mechanical design for the Nuclear Boiler (B21), Isolation Condenser (E52) and Fine Motion Control Rod Drive (G12) Systems • Construction support of the DNNP-1 SMR currently under construction by OPG • Procurement support of the DNNP-1 project for assigned systems • Conduct component and product integration • Manage product and systems requirements, specifications and flow down • Drive validation and verification activities for the overall product/system • Responsible for defining product requirements for module/component/subcontractors and partners teams • Manage interface between components and execution organizations • Resolve issues that require good technical knowledge and judgment within established procedures

🎯 Requirements

• 8 years of experience in the Engineering/Technology & Systems Engineering within the nuclear industry (for roles in Canada) • Knowledge level is comparable to a Master's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma with relevant experience) • Professional Engineering Designation in Ontario (P.eng) (for roles in Canada) • Master's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 8 years of BWR nuclear experience) (for roles in USA) • Strong preference for candidates who could relocate to Wilmington, NC (for roles in USA)
